The following is important
information that must be understood and agreed
upon prior to installation of any CCC concrete
system.
Please read the following paragraphs
carefully.
No adjustments can be made after
installation is complete and sealed.
GUARANTEES/LIABILITIES:
CCC warrants to the
customer for a period of one year against
delaminating, chipping, and excessive color
fading.
Said warranty is provided under normal
wear conditions, and does not apply to
“abusive” conditions.
This warranty applies to CCC products
only and does not, under any circumstances cover
the integrity of the concrete substrate.
Any failure of the surface beneath the
CCC system after installation, for any reason,
will not be the responsibility of CCC.
All repair costs incurred in repairing
substrate failure are the sole responsibility of
the customer.
CRACKS:
Stress cracks appear in
concrete for a number of reasons.
CCC repairs all cracks prior to the
installation of the overlay.
Because of the numerous conditions that
cause cracks, CCC cannot under any circumstances
make any guaranties, nor make any repairs under
the assumption of any warranty of any kinds.
All repair costs incurred in repairing
the crack are the sole responsibility of the
customer.
RE-SEALING:
The acrylic overlay will
need to be re-sealed every two to three years to
extend the life of the overlay.
It is recommended that only Concrete
Coatings Incorporated sealer be used in the
re-sealing.
CCC can re-seal the overlay at a minimal
cost.
ACCESS TO WATER &
ELECTRICITY:
It is the customer’s
responsibility to provide access to water and
electricity to CCC for the installation of the
overlay.
BASIC INSTALLATION:
The basic “per square foot” price includes acid
etch & pressure wash, oil stain treatment,
removal of lawn edging next to overlay, skim &
spray coats, highlighting* and two coats of
acrylic sealer. * highlights are included and
will be black and white (unless otherwise
indicated).
The highlights are random in size and
locations scattered on top of the overlay. All components with the
exception of the sealer is water based.
The overlay products will not harm
plants, grass or shrubbery.
However, you may experience a slight
discoloration from small particles of the
muriatic acid used to etch the cement.
Every effort is taken to
ensure a clean operation, however, occasionally
some small amounts can get by masking material
and some material may be seen on the grass.
They will disappear after a watering or
two.
Any overspray that was not removed prior
to CCC exiting the job site can be easily
removed with a cloth dampened with lacquer
thinner or similar solvent.
Should this become necessary, take care
not to allow the solvent to contact the new
surface. The majority of prep and
skim/spray work cannot be performed in rainy
conditions.
Also, the sealer cannot be applied in
extreme heat or windy conditions.
This can often cause scheduling delays.
Your understanding and cooperation is
requested and greatly appreciated.
CCC will not be responsible for
scheduling delays due to inclement weather.
COLORS:
Customers can pick colors
from CCC’s sample chips and brochures.
The customer understands that the samples
and brochures colors may not necessarily be the
exact color to what is installed.
