Each online course, like regular, campus courses, includes required reading and other assignments.  Students taking a course that includes a laboratory are provided a laboratory CD that allows the lab assignments to be completed on a computer. 

No attendance at a campus laboratory is required.  Completed class and lab assignments are submitted electronically through the internet. 

Chapter quizzes are taken at home on the computer, while the comprehensive exams are taken at approved testing facilities.

Out-of-state students and those who live more than 50 miles from campus must arrange to take the comprehensive exams at an approved testing center, library, or similar facility using a proctor. 

Close e-mail contact is maintained with each student.  Class members have access to an online gradebook so they can check on assignments and scores at any time.
